New Year’s Eve is not a legal holiday.According to our country’s latest regulations on statutory holidays, we have a total of seven major festivals a year that will take large-scale national holidays, namely New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.It can be seen that legal holidays do not include New Year’s Eve.However, when the Spring Festival holiday is held every year, through means such as adjusting and taking breaks, the New Year’s Eve is also taken on vacation, but the people on duty cannot enjoy the holiday subsidy benefits.

National Holidays and Commemorative Days Holidays

Article 1 is to unify the holidays for national festivals and anniversaries, and this method is formulated

Article 2 Holidays for all citizens:

(1) New Year, 1 day off (January 1);

(2) Spring Festival, 3 days off (the first and first days of the first lunar month) Second, third day);

(3) Qingming Festival, 1 day off (the day of Qingming in the lunar calendar);

(4) Labor Day, 1 day off (May 1) ;

(Five) Dragon Boat Festival, 1 day off (Lunar Dragon Boat Festival);

(Six) Mid-Autumn Festival, 1 day off (Lunar Mid-Autumn Festival);

(7) National Day, 3 days off (October 1st, 2nd, 3rd)

Article 3 Some national holidays and anniversaries:

( 1) Women’s Day (March 8), women will have a half-day holiday;

(2) Youth Day (May 4), young people over 14 will have a half-day holiday;

( 3) Children’s Day (June 1), children under the age of 14 will have one day off;

Article 4 For festivals customary to ethnic minorities, the local people’s government in the area where ethnic minorities live together shall determine the holiday date according to the custom of each ethnic group.

Article 5:27 Memorial Day, May 30 Memorial Day, July 7 Anti-Japanese War Memorial Day, September 3 Anti-Japanese War Victory Day, September 18 Memorial Day, Teacher’s Day, Nurse’s Day, Journalist’s Day, Arbor Day There will be no holiday on other festivals and anniversaries.

Article 6 All citizens shall make up the holiday on a working day if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday.Some citizens’ holidays, if they fall on Saturdays and Sundays, will not be made up.
